What you'll do
Blue and white porcelain is recognized for its value as an excellent pottery that allows you to appreciate the aesthetic sense of traditional Korean potters and painters at once.
This is a class where you become a painter and complete blue and white porcelain by painting on a bisque vase made by a modern potter, just like blue and white porcelain made by artists in the Joseon Dynasty in collaboration with each other.
You will paint with cobalt blue pigment on bisque vase that we handmade. Various Korean traditional or modern patterns will be provided, and you will start working after watching the demonstration video. So you don't have to be afraid to draw.
Your pottery takes about a week to be fired in a kiln. The finished pottery work can be received directly from our workshop, and international shipping is also available. International shipping charges will be added.
If you are thinking of doing this special experience, we recommend doing it early in your trip. Then, after a week, we can ship the finished pottery to the hotel where you are staying. You will take your pottery with you when you return home at the end of your trip.
